OBJECTIVES: Emerging evidence demonstrates that aPS-PT associate with thrombotic events. Genetic predisposition, including HLA-DRB1 alleles, is known to contribute to the occurrence of conventional aPL [anti-β2glycoprotein-I (anti-β2GPI) and aCL].
