Primary extrarenal Wilms tumors are rare neoplasms that are presumed to arise from metanephric or mesonephric remnants outside of the kidney. Their pathogenesis is debated but has not been studied, and there are no reports of genomic descriptions of extrarenal Wilms tumors.
