Muscarinic binding was analyzed in the hippocampus and frontal cerebral cortex of 3 (young) and 24-month-old (aged) inbred Wistar-Kyoto (WKY), Brown-Norway (BN) and Lewis rats, by the specific binding of the antagonist quinuclidinylbenzilate (QNB).
