Human isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH1) and its cancer-associated variant (IDH1 R132H) are rendered electroactive through coconfinement with a rapid NADP(H) recycling enzyme (ferredoxin-NADP+ reductase) in nanopores formed within an indium tin oxide electrode.
