BACKGROUND: Diffuse gliomas are the most common malignant brain tumors, and immune checkpoint inhibitors have limited therapeutic effects against this cancer. Three oncogenic pathways are altered in diffuse gliomas: the RTK/Ras/PI3K/AKT signaling, TP53, and RB pathways.
