Succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) is a key respiratory enzyme that links Krebs cycle and electron transport chain and is comprised of four subunits SDHA, SDHB, SDHC and SDHD. All SDH -deficient tumors are caused by or secondary to loss of SDH activity.
