BACKGROUND: The present study aimed to delineate the pharmacologically relevant dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPYD) variants in the Indian population. METHODS: We screened 2000 Indian subjects for DPYD variants using the Infinium Global Screening Array (GSA) (Illumina Inc., San Diego, CA, USA).
