Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) is a rare, relapsing, and life-threatening disorder with an annual incidence of 10 cases per million people. TTP is a thrombotic microangiopathy characterized by severe thrombocytopenia, microangiopathic hemolytic anemia, and organ ischemia.
