Several studies have investigated the correlation between single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs356220 in the α-synuclein (SNCA) gene and Parkinson's disease (PD) with inconsistent results. Herein, a meta-analysis was conducted to ascertain the association of the SNCA rs356220 polymorphism with the risk of PD.
