We recruited 56 colorectal cancer patients and compared the mutational spectrum of tumor tissue DNA, circulating cell-free DNA (ccfDNA) and circulating tumor cell (CTC) DNA (ctcDNA) to evaluate the potential of liquid biopsy to detect heterogeneity of cancer.
