Recent comprehensive molecular analysis allowed the identification of unique molecular signatures in pheochromocytomas (PHEOs) and paragangliomas (PGLs). Here we summarize the main pathway clusters activated by PHEO- and PGL-susceptibility genes: pseudohypoxic, kinase, and Wnt signaling.
