Purpose: Sclerosing epithelioid fibrosarcoma (SEF) is a highly aggressive soft tissue sarcoma closely related to low-grade fibromyxoid sarcoma (LGFMS). Some tumors display morphologic characteristics of both SEF and LGFMS, hence they are known as hybrid SEF/LGFMS.
