OBJECTIVES: The effects of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) transplantation on established collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) were evaluated and compared to biologic therapies. METHODS: CIA was induced with the immunisation of type II collagen (CII) in DBA/1 mice.
