PURPOSE: Cetuximab, an EGFR-specific antibody (mAb), modestly improves clinical outcome in patients with head and neck cancer (HNC). Cetuximab mediates natural killer (NK) cell:dendritic cell (DC) cross-talk by cross-linking FcγRIIIa, which is important for inducing antitumor cellular immunity.
