BACKGROUND: Persistent Polyclonal Binucleated B-cell Lymphocytosis (PPBL) is characterized by a chronic polyclonal B-cell lymphocytosis with binucleated lymphocytes and a polyclonal increase in serum immunoglobulin-M.
