CCAAT/enhancer binding protein alpha gene (CEBPA) is an important transcription factor in maintenance of differentiation of granulocyte series of hematopoietic system. It plays a key role in regulating cell proliferation and differentiation. CEBPA mutation easily occurs in M1 and M2 type of acute myeloid leukemia, about 5%-14% in adult acute myeloid leukemia and 7.9% in children with acute myeloid leukemia. At...
