Thyroid carcinoma (TC) is the most common endocrine malignancy. The pathogenesis of TC is complex and involves multiple genetic events that lead to activation of oncogenic pathways such as the MAP kinase (MAPK) pathway and the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway.
