A new N-ethyl-N-nitrosourea (ENU)-induced mouse recessive mutation, identified by fundus examination of the eye, develops depigmented patches, indicating retinal disorder. Histology data show aberrant retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) and late-onset photoreceptor cell loss in the mutant retina.
