OBJECTIVE: The effect of the gene polymorphism for the key enzyme's folacin metabolism pathway on plasmatic homocysteine (Hcy) levels in fertile woman was observed. METHODS: The subjects were from Shaoxing City, Jiangsu province in 2012, the selection criteria for the women of childbearing age were between 20-45 years old, with an average age of 28.2 (95%CI:27.8-28.6) years old.
