OBJECTIVE: To determine whether preeclampsia is associated with polymorphisms in the IL-1α. METHODS: We genotyped a Chinese population (212 women with preeclampsia and 203 controls) for the polymorphism of the interleukin-1α gene (3'-untranslated region).
