The aim of the study was to identify DNA changes in mitochondrial gene fragments: NADH dehydrogenase subunit 1 (ND1), cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) and cytochrome b (CYTB) in tumor tissue, normal tissue and blood, and to define their association with the tumor type in dogs.
