OBJECTIVE: The complication of interstitial lung disease (ILD) in polymyositis/dermatomyositis (PM/DM) is associated with anti-aminoacyl-transfer RNA synthetase (anti-aaRS) antibody or anti-melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 (anti-MDA-5) antibody positivity.
