Swiss albino male mice, 6-8 weeks old, were treated orally with different doses of uric acid dissolved in water for 7 days. Some of the mice in each group were injected i.p. with cyclophosphamide (25 mg/kg) and killed after 30 h. The blood of all animals was analyzed for uric acid levels.
