A 58 Mb region on rat chromosome 4 known to regulate experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) was genetically dissected. High-resolution linkage analysis in an advanced intercross line (AIL) revealed four quantitative trait loci (QTLs), Eae24-Eae27.
