Recent studies indicate that neonatal spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) possess pluripotency. However, the mechanisms that regulate the pluripotent differentiation capacity of SSCs remain unclear. Here, we describe a new method to clonally derive pluripotent SSCs from neonatal mouse testis.
