Fifty-day-old female rats of the inbred Osborne-Mendel (OM) and Copenhagen (COP) strains were exposed to a single dose of either of 2 highly effective mammary chemical carcinogens, 7,12-dimethylbenz[a] anthracene (DMBA) or 1-methyl-1-nitrosourea (MNU).
