S49 murine lymphoma cells were examined for expression of various nucleoside transport systems using a non-metabolized nucleoside, formycin B, as substrate. Nitrobenzylthioinosine (NBTI)-sensitive, facilitated transport was the primary nucleoside transport system of the cells.
