Philadelphia chromosome-negative chronic myeloproliferative disorders (Ph(-) CMPD) comprise a group of heterogenous haematological stem cell disorders. These diseases harbour a pathological bone marrow stem cell which overwhelms normal stem cells due to sustained and uncontrolled proliferation.
