Combinations of HLA and killer immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIR) may affect outcome in T-cell depleted haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The KIR gene family includes inhibitory (KIR2DL and 3DL) and activating receptors (KIR2DS).
