OBJECTIVE: To explore the possibilities of bone marrow stromal cells (MSCs) to adopt Schwann cell phenotype in vitro and in vivo in SD rats. METHODS: MSCs were obtained from tibia and femur bone marrow and cultured in culture flasks.
