One hundred and forty-five ESCC patients and 352 controls were recruited from three hospitals in Taiwan to determine the association between esophageal squamous-cell-carcinoma (ESCC) and microsomal epoxide hydrolase (mEH) genotypes at Thy113His and His139Arg.
