We report the case of a healthy woman (K.M.) who, after multiple pregnancies, developed an antibody directed against a nonpolymorphic region of the polymorphonuclear neutrophil (PMN) Fc gamma receptor III (FcRIII-CD16), which caused transient neonatal alloimmune neutropenia (NAIN).
