Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection is a pathogenic agent of gastric diseases, but their mechanisms are unclear. Effects of ammonia, tumor necrosis factor (TNF), and anti-Lewis autoantibodies induced after H. pylori infection on the development of gastric diseases were investigated.
