PURPOSE: XK469 (2-[4-(7-chloro-2-quinoxalinyloxy) phenoxy]propionic acid), a synthetic quinoxaline phenoxypropionic acid derivative, has broad activity against murine tumors and is entering Phase I clinical development as a topoisomerase IIbeta inhibitor.
