The effect of nitric oxide on p11 expression was studied in an immortalized human bronchial epithelial cell line (BEAS-2B cells). Three nitric oxide donors were used: spermine NONOate (SP), (+/-)-S-nitroso-N-acetylpenicillamine (SNAP), and S-nitrosoglutathione (SNOG).
