Antigen receptor signaling is known to activate NF-kappaB in lymphocytes. While T-cell-receptor-induced NF-kappaB activation critically depends on novel protein kinase C theta (PKCtheta), the role of novel PKCs in B-cell stimulation has not been elucidated.
