The fusion gene containing the promoter of casein gene, LAtPA minigene and 3' flanking sequences of casein gene was introduced into the fertilized eggs of mice by microinjection. Five positive transgenic mice were obtained. The concentration of LAtPA in the milk of one female transgenic mouse is 0.18 microgram/ml.
