Exposure of HepG2 cells to beta-naphthoflavone (beta-NF) or pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (PDTC) resulted in the up-regulation of the gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase catalytic (GCS(h)) and regulatory (GCS(l)) subunit genes.
