Tea-oil tree (Camellia oleifera), one of the most important ligneous edible trees, is native to China. In August 2016, infected leaves of C. oleifera with symptoms of anthracnose were obtained from tea-oil tree plantations in Changsha city of China (28°06′N; 113°02′E).
