Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) is the leading cause of premature mortality in epilepsy. Genetic cardiac risk factors, including loss-of-function KCNH2 variants, have been linked to SUDEP. We hypothesised that seizures and LQTS interact to increase SUDEP risk.
