Lactiplantibacillus plantarum HY7720 was screened from 22 strains of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) that were isolated from different plant foods, and its growth ability and extracellular vitamin B 12 -producing capacity in vitamin B 12 -deficient medium were investigated. HY7720 was resistant to the conditions of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) and showed high adhesion property to human intestinal epithelial cells....
