<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> COQ7 is a mitochondrial hydroxylase that catalyzes the penultimate step of the biosynthesis of coenzyme Q (CoQ; ubiquinone). CoQ is an obligate component of the mitochondrial electron transport chain and an antioxidant.
