Glomerulosclerosis is a feature of many chronic kidney diseases. Glomeruli are composed of glomerular endothelial cells (GECs), podocytes (PODs) and mesangial cells (MCs), and dysregulation in the interaction between these cell types results in glomerulosclerosis.
