<title>Abstract</title> <p>Background Esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC) is the sixth most deadly cancer worldwide, with increasing incidence in North America. As no targeted therapy or immunotherapy has revolutionized the management of EAC, chemotherapy is the only standard of care.
