The genetic diversity by spa typing, the susceptibility to the sanitisers benzalkonium chloride (BC) and chlorhexidine (CHL) and the presence of efflux pump genes to resistance to sanitisers in 31 Staphylococcus aureus isolated from milk, were investigated.
