<title>Abstract</title> <p><italic>Hypothesis: </italic>Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is an inevitable complication of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). Late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) on MRI occurs in DMD-related DCM, indicating myocyte death and remodeling.
