<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli are the most common cause of bacterial gastroenteritis in the world. Ganglioside mimicry by C. jejuni lipooligosaccharide (LOS) is the triggering factor of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), an acute polyneuropathy.
