<title>Abstract</title> <p>Objective: This randomized trial aimed to investigate the effects of selenium on patients diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). <h4>Design:</h4> 50 SLE patients were randomly assigned to receive daily either 200 μg of selenium supplement or a placebo for eight weeks.
