<title>Abstract</title> <p><bold>Background.</bold> The importance of prostaglandin F2 receptor inhibitors (PTGFRN) in the progression of a variety of malignant tumors has been recognized in recent years. So far, no role of PTGFRN in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has been reported.
