Fcγ receptors (FcγRs) is an important family of receptors involved in the recognition of IgG- coated particles and complexes. Engagement of activating FcγRs initiates phagocytosis, antibody- dependent cellular cytotoxicity, and the release of inflammatory mediators. Many systemic autoimmune diseases are under FcγR control.
